OCEAN STEWARDSHIP

OCEAN STEWARDSHIP

The Pacific Ocean needs our help more than ever right now! Help us to steward marine life and delicate ecosystems while we still can. Whether its ocean-drifting garbage washing up on shore, ghost nets killing marine animals, or the bleaching of coral reefs, the ocean is in rough shape these days.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Ghost nets and destructive fishing practices are responsible for killing or severely injuring Dolphins, Turtles, Sharks, Whales, and many other species of ocean life. Help us to have a positive impact on our Ocean Life. Join us each month for local Cleanup & Stewardship Events in Hawaii.

STAND UP FOR OCEAN LIFE

Do you know about off-shore fishing and how giant nets are being used to dredge the ocean of profitable fish for companies? Ghost nets (massive, heavy-duty fishing nets) are dragged through the ocean and reef ecosystems, causing major damage in their path. When these nets are lost at sea by fishermen, they drift with storms and cause major damage to the marine ecosystem. No matter how these nets are used, they are destructive to ocean life.
